In 1970 a small familiar workshop was born, Mecánica de Presición Miguens Hnos., dedicated to the manufacturing and sharpening of cutting tools. With sacrifice, commitment and passion for work, this endeavor was beginning to consolidate.

The company gradually increased its industrial activity and in 1977 it started the manufacturerating of devices, tools and machinery for the manufacture of filters.

In 1980 the company expanded its productive level, and started to manufacture centrifuge air precleaners, and after some time the sets of air purifiers for internal combustion engines.

In the 90´s the company dedicated exclusively to the manufacture of filters, incorporating new machinery for the production processes.

Then, in 1993, it incorporated the manufacturing of air, oil and fuel filters, together with the launch of the LANSS brand for the marketing of its products and filters for heavy duty: agricultural, road, marine, mining and industry.

A wide acceptance of its products was achieved, products whose quality makes them different. As a result, it began to export to different countries in the world.

In the year 2000, LANSS filters achieved the first ISO certification, and since then, it continues working under the same management system.

It has recently incoporated new machineries, introducing a higher technological level for the development of a great variety of last generation filters, being the only national suppliers of their kind.

In 2003, it added to its location of 3000 m2 a new industrial plant of 7000 m2, thereby creating new jobs.

With the same conviction and passion that in its beginnig, and with the constant support of all its people, LANSS filters is today a leading product purely Argentinian, that is competing with the most prestigious brands worldwide.
